    Question [Help]? iMac or Mac Mini for Music Production?

    Ok so i wanna turn my room into a Studio and first thing is first. What Mac should i get for Recording?.

    Heres what i've found and like:

    Mac Mini:
    Processor Type Intel Core i7
    Processor Speed 2.7 GHz
    Number of Cores Dual-Core
    Manufacturer's RAM Capacity 8 GB

    Hard Drive Capacity 500 GB
    Hard Drive Rotation Speed 7200 RPM

    Or iMac:

    Processor Type Intel Core i5
    Processor Speed 2.5 GHz
    Number of Cores Quad-Core
    Hard Drive Capacity 500 GB
    Hard Drive Rotation Speed 7200 RPM

    Right well this isn't 100% correct but it has been said that a mobile processor is equivalent to a lower generation desktop CPU.

    If i were you, I would go for the iMac, due to it having more physical cores.
