Default Hex editing TDU2 / Tutorial

Well this is how to hex edit TDU2, there has been a program released for this but this for the more 'optimistic' person.

    You will need

Hexworkshop : Hex Workshop: Hex Editor, Sector Editor, Base Converter and Hex Calulator for Windows
Modio : Home - GameTuts - Download Modio
The amount of money you have. - Wrote down somewhere so you remember it.
    __________________________________________________ ________

First extract your DATA file from your PLAYERSAVE. (PLAYERSAVE = TDU2 profile)

Then drag your PLAYERSAVE into Modio.

    Spoiler:

Then you want to extract the DATA file, and put it on Desktop.

    Spoiler:

Then you want to open the DATA file in HexWorkShop, hit CTRL + F and use this options :

    Spoiler:

THEN you want to highlight the numbers found, and hit '32bit signed long'. Then just right click and hit 'Edit value'

    Spoiler:

Again then, you want to edit the value and save it.

Then rehash and resign, then your done. Enjoy. :)

i have a question, and im not exactly sure this is the place to ask,so please forgive me if im wrong Lewis.

is there a way to take a car skin and merge it with another cars performance?
    err,for example..skin of a charger,performance of a ferrari...

    heres why i ask
the dlc is coming on the 17th for xbox.
the 69 charger wreck/car....i want to be able to tweak the performance of this car in some way or fashion..
reports from pc users who had the dlc already stated the car was slow and unable to top out on dirt.
    or even go fast...
    is it possible?

and then, just to get it all out,is there a way to have multiples of this car,as its a wreck car?
thanks in advance and got my fingers crossed.

I've never played the game, so I wouldn't know.. And unless the makers store all the data for one car in a column I doubt it can happen. I know that you can swap car ID's with another car, so you have that car instead..

    E.G:

    Ferrari ID: 1336 (just guessed)
Lamborghini ID: 1337 (the car you want, again guessed)

You would find the Ferrari ID, and replace all traces of it with the Lamborghini ID.

I wouldn't be so sure, I'd post around though. See if you can find anything. Good luck.
