√Livestream - Justin.TV - Twitch.TV - Own3d.TV & more

One of the main things we had before was the Justin.TV Livestream which was very successful. It brought attention and entertainment for the members. There has been, over time, a few concerns about how the live stream was placed. People didn't like it placed on the home screen so we will eliminate that for the future and focus on making a tab on top of the screen for live streaming.

Livestreams will include community nights to new games with commentary from members and staff. Encouraging interaction between members as well.

We will display all official streams & future partnerships channels on the page. In that case, it will also allow people to apply for tokens to stream on the official streams as well.

The live stream is going to come back, but with a different approach as before.

*Server Upgrade

Bran has gone through this many times, it has been upgraded compared to before. We have received numerous complaints from members about Cloudfare requesting captchas on several pages. The only issue is that Cloudfare does work to a degree, but it is up to Bran to change the hosting. We can't do anything about that.

*Faster support

One of the main concerns about the forum is the support for Modio as it is the primary reason why GameTuts was created. We will focus on a better support system. There are a few obstacles that stand in the way though; such as vBulletin itself. We need to develop an advanced system based on the forum settings.

I have a few ideas in mind, such as adding more links and eye-catching features for new members looking for support. It'll also require staff members to put in time and effort to keep the system up and going. However, this is something that'll be implemented and discussed.

*Design

Bran is always craving for good designs, but the change can not be extreme or it doesn't reflect the true colors of GameTuts. We are always known for blue and white colors. What we can do, in terms of changing design, is to create a new theme with the same colors.

If anyone has suggestions for us, designs or logos, let us know. We will love to take those in and hopefully create a new design for members to select.

It is important for the site to be appealing to the eye rather than boring and plain.

X Warez

One of the long time requested things to have, I would personally love to have it. Bran is the only one who can make this decision because he would have to change his hosting, DDoS protection services, and everything related to the server to an offshore hosting. There may be reasons though why Bran doesn't want to have Warez, but this is not available unless we have offshore hosting.

If you wish to have Warez, there are other websites available. You can PM other members links, but can not post Warez link publicly.

X Arcade Integration

As before, people want to have games available for use. Simple arcade games.

We will look for the plugins and recommend to Bran for integration.

√ Reputation system

We had this before and it was abused massively. People were always fighting and complaining about reputation abuse and how people didn't deserve their current reputation. It was too much to handle and was causing internal issues. This is one of the suggestions that I do NOT want to bring back.

√ News Feed

One of my most wanted features to have. The issue though was that vBulletin couldn't perform as desired so we have people selected with badges to post latest news and events. However, I'll discuss an easier system for various game consoles and information not related to just Xbox.

√ Shoutbox - Modio & Forum

I do not believe we have ever tried having a shout box integration on the forum, but people always suggested that it'll remove posts and threads because of activity in the shout box on the forum.

I'll discuss if that'll be good idea.

Modio, in future update, is going to have the shout box as planned. It can change though.

**Modio

Bran is still working on an update. There is no control whatsoever on it. I agree with suggestions regarding Modio being the primary control for improvement, but I can not do anything about it. We have to wait for Bran to release. I'll talk with Bran regarding it.

X Forum change

Some of you guys suggested a different kind of forum rather than vBulletin. In this case, I agree. However, it'll be a massive import over to a new forum. This is one of things I'll discuss with staff.

√ VIP Additions

I will discuss with staff about this. I am thinking that Livestream tokens should be available to VIP only, plus donators and those who contributed to the website. Another thing would be private content only for VIP rather than inside Modio and forums. I will update more information on this when available.

√ Emotions

If you have an emotion that you want to have in GameTuts, send me a PM and I'll decide whether or not.

√ Home Page Redone

This is a good idea and will have new features for Modio support + entertainment centers. I will post more information as we get closer to this part.

*Youtube- user submitted videos

This is definitely being used again. I will setup a user submissions page and it'll be integrated into GameTuts live stream. Keep an eye out for it. This is definitely coming.

√ Forum name changes - Halo 4

With time, it'll change. We will keep our forums updated regularly.

√ Giveaways - Donator

Donation money and gifts will be used for giveaway, but these will not be threads anymore. It'll be involved in community game nights and Youtube/Livestream events. I'll post more information on this soon.

X Minecraft Server

I do not know the amount of people who play this game, but we will not be hosting any servers soon for Minecraft until we get a good census of people who would play. There are good servers out there for use.

√ Community Events

A very important feature to have. We will have events on Youtube and Livestream where members come together and play games based on a schedule provided. Giveaways will be within the events as well.

√ Chat Filter

I agree that this should be removed, but the use of profanity can NOT be abused. It is important to keep respect and maturity on the forums.

X Name changing

I will look into a plugin available for this.

√ SE section

I am not sure about this, but will discuss with staff.

√ Gaming News

We added a new feature on the homepage. You can discuss the latests gaming news there.

I've discussed it with staff, and I have decided to remove the censor. If this is abused, I will re-implement it.

Accordingly, I have removed rule G10 regarding bypassing the censor, and changed G6 to "Do not use excessive foul language (cursing)"

Better modding support, faster server, and a sleeker design. I consider this design the Xbox 360 Elite. I upgraded to the slim and never turned back. I advise you do the same.
