    Default Math Question

Hoping someone can help me out with this. I am completely lost.

The flight of a aircraft from Toronto to Halifax can be modeled by the relation h = -3.5t, + 210t , where t is time in minutes, and h is height in meters.

    a) How long does it take to fly from Toronto to Halifax?
    b) What is the maximum height of the aircraft?
    c) At what times does the aircraft reach this maximum height?

I got A) as 60min. If you do these can you show the steps as I'm going to need to know them for other questions. Thanks for anyone who helps me out.

It's -3.5t^2 right? It's just a parabola, so you could graph it out, or use a online graph to see the maximum point. Don't think I remember the equation to find the maximum.

Then once you find your maximum height, you plug it in for H, and then put h to the other side, and use the quadratic formula to solve.

I have an exam coming up, my teacher said there's a way to do it without graphing it and you shouldn't need to graph it. I cant figure out what to do without graphing it.

-b/2a dawg. That'll find you x coordinate, and plug it in to find y.
