Well i just heard the thing about there bieng less people buying games at retail stores, which might mean that there are less gamers every time.... pfffttttt hahahahahahaha

PEOPLE!!!! Have you forgotten that much gamers are switching computer gaming just to get them through sites like piratebay for free, doesn't that damage the rating of game sales in stores, and the gamers who have the consoles hacked just so they get the so called "backups" for five games which is really just buying pirated games for cheap price. Now isnt this what damage the rating of sales??? is not that people are gaming less, in fact there are more gamers every year. Why? is part of our culture. gaming is not dying; just look at the large comunity of LOL, and of WOW, and the counities of XBOX LIVE and Playstation online, they keep growing, is justy that people are being more risky hacking their xbox360 (guilty as charged) or downloading games on pc trhough pirate bay other sites.

Yes, this cripples the industries, and is kinda of problem, though people still buy games so is not a giant problem. We just need to learn to atleast buy the full price copies at stores if we know we want it and that is going to be amazing, like Skyrim was, and the ones that we do not feel sure, well... you guys do what you have to (lol, i know i always do).

In the end all i want to say is:

Be discreet, you can buy backups, or download trough torrents, but remember to buy some of the games, why the lqarge companies depend on it, becuase the moment thy dont produce, is the moment where the have to close down. Remember every dollar you use to buy the games on stores, are like funds for the companies to develop the next game.

Just think this: "YOU WOULDN'T WANT BETHESDA TO CLOSE DOWN JUST BECAUSE YOU DECIDED IT WAS FREE TROUGH TORRENTS?"

Here let me dish out $60 for a game that repeats itself ex. CoD.
Games aren't worth such a big fucking price tag, especially in this economy. If I were to go to gamestop, but two new games, I'm already down $120. That is utterly ridiculous. I pirate Single player games, and if I REALLY like it, I will buy it on Steam. I buy all my Multiplayer games though ofc.

It's easy to speak, but to contray belief the US isn't the center of the world. In my country a new game costs 71 €, which is aproximately 91 $, now I don't know about you, but 90 bucks it's 2 weeks work for me.

i do the same and some of my friends hate me for it
