Q: Does Modio have viruses? Where can I download it?
A: Modio does not carry any viruses, if your security program detects anything spyware or virus related, it is false. You should only download Modio from the official GameTuts website, located here.

Q: Is there anything I should know about the features of Modio?
A: Yes, the shoutbox is a tool for talking, not advertising. The shoutbox is recommended for very quick questions, if you see massive spamming of an advertisement repeatedly you should contact a moderator or report them as soon as possible, so that the shoutbox will not lag or error. Currently there is no shoutbox released for Modio 5.

Q: What's a false positive?
A: A false positive is when your security/firewall program detects malware or any other abnormalty in a program that does not exist. This commonly occurs with Norton Antivirus.

Q: When I try to use Modio, I'm prompted a message saying: "There was an error when attempting to open the save, Reason- Font 'fontname' does not support style 'Regular'.
A: This is because your computer's default font is set to a different font. Restore the default font and you should be good to go!

Q: Where are the rules at?

Q: How do I make my text big and colored, underlined, italicized or add a spoiler?

Q: What is that picture below the line of your post, and how do I get one?
A: The picture or text below the line of every post is called a signature. To get a picture, you can make one on your own using various tutorials people may post, (or using a direct tutorial from Youtube) or request one when you have a higher post count, many people require you to be active for a certain period of time. You can edit your signature by clicking this link.

Q: Is VIP worth buying, how much does it cost?
A: VIP is worth it, you get exclusive forum features and more tools to use on GameTuts' signature program, "Modio". Here are the temporary VIP subscription pay amounts. Members who purchased VIP before Modio 5's release obtained lifetime VIP.

Q: What is a leech?
A: A leech is somebody who joins a website (in this case it would be GameTuts), posts maybe 2 or 3 times, and then asks if he/she can get into a lobby. They are somewhat frowned upon.

Q: How do I know if I'm a leech?
A: Usually if your post count is below 50, people consider you as a leech. Also if your posts were illiterate, such as this example. (Click the spoiler below)

Q: How will I get people to like me more? I'm not very popular.
A: Proper grammar helps a lot, if you can't spell, try your best. You can also treat people with respect and try to avoid flame wars. Also, give your honest opinion about something that is a big topic in your interests, if somebody creates a thread called "Halo is better than MW3", put up a good fight in the end, just remember, don't be rude or obnoxious. Being a VIP member also increases your reputation.

Q: How should I post?
A: Post with nice grammar, capitalization is always nice, but a lot of people prefer to be lazy and not capitalize their words, so it's not needed. Punctuation makes for a great sentence as well!

Q: What is the point of this website?
A: GameTuts is a gaming website specifically for the discussion of video games on various systems, although it is typically used for tutorials on modding, sharing discoveries on video games (showing mods) and just general chat with people that may relate with you.

Q: Are these "Microsoft Point/PSN Point ($) Generators" real?
A: Absolutely not, do not fall for the scams that some users try to use on you. If any website asks for your Gamertag, or Playstation Network Username corresponding with the details used to verify your Xbox Live or PSN accounts, it is usually interpreted as a scam to steal your information to the benefit of the scammer. If you have already fallen victim to one of these scams, you should immediately change your password.

Q: Will somebody take my request seriously?
A: If for a reason you need to request help or a tutorial, this would be the way to make it more, "serious". Include correct grammar, punctuation and capitalization, ask your question or demand seriously, eventually a nice GameTuts member will offer you help.

Q: My question is very simple and embarrassing, should I still ask it?
A: Yes, in truth. A lot of people will make rude gestures about your question, but in due time somebody should and will most likely answer your question for you. Usually a staff member.

Q: How can I improve my reputation around GameTuts?
A: Reputation is usually earned by tutorials and extremely helpful threads, playing games with members and becoming friends with members, other than that it's earned by your join date. Users in 2009 are the most widely respected, followed by 2010 users and so forth.

Q: Can I customize my profile?
A: The current version of vBulletin that GameTuts uses does not support profile customization. Previous version of vBulletin allowed profile customization and it was limited to members that were VIP.

Q: What is "SE'ing?"
A: SE'ing is social engineering. Social engineering by definition is, "a term that describes a non-technical kind of intrusion that relies heavily on human interaction and often involves tricking other people to break normal security procedures."

Q: What security procedures are you tricking people into breaking?
A: An example of a security procedure that one may exploit would be an employee of Apple refunding a purchase for a good. The good would be obtained by using false information and heavy wording choice.

Q: Are there tutorials on how to social engineer?
A: Yes, but the tutorials are restricted to VIP/Donator members. If you would like to learn how to SE or be informed of new exploits, you have to purchase VIP or Donator status, alternatively you can browse other websites for guides.

Q: How do I sell my item?
A: You must go to the marketplace and create a thread, provide legitimate proof that you own the item and then ask for a reasonable price.

Q: What kind of proof do I need before I sell my item?
A: Usually a picture of the item along with a sticky note attached to it with your GameTuts username, the date and "GameTuts" written on it somewhere. This assures potential consumers that you do own the item and it is still in your possession.

Q: I was just scammed! What do I do?!
A: If you sent your payment through PayPal gift, then there's not much you can do. If you were scammed by using a regular PayPal payment method, you can appeal the purchase and get a refund. You should also contact a staff member so that they can punish the scammer accordingly and alert the public.

Q: What's verified mean?
A: If a person has a pink username or, "Verified" userbadge, they will not scam you. Verified means that they are legitimate sellers and have proven it several times, they will not scam you.

Q: How do I get verified?
A: To obtain the verified userbadge you need to sell several items to people, you must also always post proof of legitimacy and get vouches from several people. You must never scam and have very little mishaps between sales or trades.

Q: How do I know who's verified?
A: Their username should be pink, and they will also have a userbadge that reads, "Verified."

Q: Is there any possible way I could get into a 10-20th Prestige Lobby?
A: Yes, there is. But if you've only been here for a few hours you've most likely not waited long enough to see the full benefits of this website. Usually somebody will post a thread that shows you have the eligibility to join the lobby.

Q: I'm hosting a lobby, can I charge a fee for an invite?
A: Yes, you can charge a fee. but you must be verified by an administrator and include it in your thread's first post. You also cannot charge over 10 dollars ($10/Ten dollars).
Q: I'm hosting a lobby, can I ask for donations?
A: Yes, you can ask for donations., and donations do not require you to be verified by a staff member.

Q: What does a JTAG or RGH hack do?
A: A JTAG or RGH hack allows your console to operate unsigned code.

Q: What is unsigned code?
A: Unsigned code is a code that isn't signed for retail consoles. Such coding includes running games from your hard drive without the use of a disc, free arcade games, homebrew, emulators, easier hacking of games and tons more.

Q: How does one JTAG/RGH their console?
A: A JTAG can only be done on consoles that aren't updated past the 7XXX dashboard, and it must be exploitable. The "Reset Glitch" hack can be used on any console other than the newest slim motherboard revision (Corona). You can find JTAG instructions here, and RGH instructions here. You can also find various tutorials for any other JTAG/RGH related issues here.

Q: Can I use a JTAG/RGH console on Xbox Live?
A: There are reports of people accessing Xbox Live with a JTAG/RGH console.No, you cannot go online with a JTAG or RGH console.

Q: What kinds of JTAGs/RGHs are there?
A: There are Xenon, Zephyr, Falcon, Opus, Jasper, Trinity and Corona (now exploitable).

Add a link to the Official rules and a link to Modio [from the site]. Discuss how the Modio DL from the site is the only 100% safe download link for Modio. Also, careful when using the Modio shoutbox.
