The Best Poem Ever Made
I made this elegy for English class, what do you think?
The Cold Killer
The kids were playing,
little did they know,
a man was straying
into the snow.
He used his skill,
cunning, and kindness
to lead them up the hill
and said “they’ll never find this”
He took out his knife,
and sliced a kid open.
They ran in a fright,
but the door was broken.
They could not run.
They could not hide.
All they felt,
was rustling inside.
I also made a haiku, here it is:
The jimmies rustle.
They rustle through time and space.
Rustle those jimmies
Opinions?

Re: The Best Poem Ever Made
Gave it to her and she told me she might have to send me to a councilor because my poem was too violent and it may be an indicator of things at home. The jimmies have been rustled.
