Hey all just wanted to announce a few things,

- site has been updated a few bug fixes and other oddities, users can now mass manage drops.
- drag and drop upload has been fixed
- also donators can now use the proper ninj.us uri for short url
- we have a full uri shorting api built that supports all kinds of goodies.
- for a monthly fee users can get access to custom domains, or custom sub-domains, as well as the api that allows for short uris (please note this is not from a donation.)
- lastly follow pixldrop on twitter to get news on a special contest upcoming, the winner will receive a full pixldrop developer access account FREE for a year, that means access to custom domains, access the both the pixldrop API and the shorty API, access to advanced stats and more... be sure to follow us on twitter to keep and eye our for that!

Pxildrop 4.0 is almost here! It fixes a number of bugs including I've reworked the app to have a cross-platform interface, and really focused on keeping the app optimized and focused on being able to run the app 24/7 365 and not have memory leaks or bursts etc...

In doing so I've changed a lot of things and also spent a good deal of time on the interface. Check out some of the shots below.

I can't express how helpful this program really is. I have used it numerous times now and it is purely awesome. It has helped me document my program and made it easy to share screenshots with others to help me. I love it, the only downside is I have to copy the image url and add the [img] code when posting on forums. Could you add a option on your website to copy this code including the [img] bbcode as it would make it so much better.

Edit: I find Shift+Insert a better way to short key this app because sometimes I want the whole screen and Print Screen makes it qicker. The update on short keys can be buggy at time and I have found that clicking on another option ensures my option is saved as I have backed out many time after setting this to find it didn't save my settings. Not sure how you would go about amending this but I thought I would just mention it.

In the new version shown above I've 100% re-written the HotKey class so it should work much much better.

4.0 is out an available for download, I suggest the upgrade as the interface is much nicer, there are lots of updates and fixes.
