pixldrop is back!

hey all, so I've been busy working on a major overhaul of pixldrop! I promised a few people it was not gone and would be back and better and I think it truly is!

If you don't know what pixldrop is, it's a quick image capture and upload app that I wrote in c++ it's cross platform (linux and mac versions pending) and designed to be quick and simple.

So check out the video below and download the beta app as well, try it out, leave me feedback.

Works now.

So far i'm liking it!
I like how you can set a custom key to start up the program to take the screentshot instantly.

Keeping it as print screen though as it's good enough.
Takes the screencap pretty fast actually. Faster than any screencap program i have used.

Also takes screen capture of my entire desktop quickly and without any errors. I usually tend to get errors sometimes when attempting full screen capture with other screen capture programs.

Hope you keep this program up and running for a long time, i plan on using it.

The sign in page (on the website) isn't working for me. I'm using Chrome.

Awesome glad you like it!, it's designed to be small, simple and clean. Yes pixldrop will be around for the long haul, however keep in mind over the next few weeks you're bound to get a few errors and issues while I'm working on both the website and the application.

Don't worry it's only rice. expect it to not work for him, nothing ever does.

i may consider using it, currently using Gyazo and it likes to error quite alot :l

Teh Edit: Created Account fine, However login page is just a white screen?

Teh Edit #2: I Like it alot more than Gyazo to be honest, has a better feel and everything, i always hated how i accidently hit Gyazo and had to Right Click to stop it from taking a Screen Shot but would always bring up the Right Click Menu and Stay Viewed until i'd click something on the Menu, Where as your App allows me to right click without the damn menu popping up.

i likes it.
