    Default Uncorrupt a Profile.

    Hello Everyone.
I know its my first post here at Modio but I would be really grateful if some one can help.
I was updating my dash to 16547 using this tutorial:

Near the end, i forgot to unplug my HDD and now my profile on the HDD is corrupted.
Is there any way to recover it???
I don't care about recovering the whole profile, I only want the save data to be recovered. Maybe a way to extract it and stitch it to another profile. But recovering the whole profile would be ideal.

I have been googling for hours and found few mentions of Modio so I thought I might try my luck here. Ive gone through all the 3 pages of the tutorials thread but no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only way to get a corrupted profile is by either having a backup or redownloading it from Xbox Live by recovering your profile with the e-mail and password.

Hi giant848,try putting a game save from the corrupt profile onto the new profile and if it's successful you can then proceed with the other saves, dont forget to change the old profile id for the new profile id.

With the excemption of some games, changing Profile ID is the only soloution if it was a non Xbox Live account. In the past I've heard of people deleting the corrupted profile and making a new offline profile with the same name and the gamesave are fixed but this might not be the case these days as Microsoft have changed the way ID's are obtained and used over the years. If you try this first and have no luck simple change the ID's to your new gamertag to be able to use it.

Modio doesn't like Borderlands 2 much by that was around release. Also the games that you can't simply change ID's on are profile assigned games like Forza Motorsport 2, 3 & 4 as it's encrypted diffrently and has extra security checks.

Open Modio and click 'Open a Save'

    Click the USB icon

    Select the corrupted GamerTag location

Select a Game and the Save you want to open

That will open this page and simply having your new account on the USB device as well you can click 'Save to <Profile> On USB':

That's as simple as it is.
