Mods won't work

Does anyone know why my mods won't work for mw2. I am new to modding but i followed a few tutorials and the mods still won't work. I went to splitscreen and private match but the mod won't activate.

Well, you have to be on TU6, due to TU7 restrictions mods will only work offline and in split screen. My guess is you have the TU7 default.xex, you have to find a TU6 default.xex
