Modding Gamerscore. For Odst.

Im about to get a transfer cable and have a knowledge on how to mod. but i have a question. if i mod achievements will i get banned? and has anyone tried to mod achievements on halo3 to get recon? did you get? also last question when odst drops can i mod all the achievements and halo3 achievements and get recon? i modded my friends gamerscore and gave him all the achievements for odst and now he has recon in odst

Bottom line: If you mod all of your achievements in Halo 3 and ODST then you will only be able to get recon for Halo 3 when they update their site after the 'planned' release date.

Your friend got the recon helmet for firefight because he 'completed' an achievement which lets you play as the character 'DARE' who wears the recon helmet as standard.

UPDATE: ODST Carries a achievement stat system so there will be no modding achievements to get recon, if the stats don't match it will refuse you recon until you complete the required criteria that goes with the achievement.
