I used a mod now my gamertag has changed

How can i reset my gamertag i deleted my backup by mistake i placed it into the wrong folder and i deleted it
i used a mod and now my gamertag has [MARA] or something like that added to my name

The mod i used wasnt even for online mode i have no idea how its changed my tag i need to change it

Delete the gamertag from your Xbox, then go through the "Gamertag Recovery" process and see if that fixes it ?

Never worked no worrys i fixed it

I created a new profile and copied all the files and replaced it with the currupt one but using my original profile id etc and its working now

hopefully this will help out anyone else having the same problem

extract the following files below and replace with your original profile

tile_64.png

you might not need all files but i replaced them all and its working

Maybe, but it worked

According to google search results you cannot mod your gamertag which is a lie because the mod i used did, i just wanted the stupid tag off my name and would try anything for it too work
