Modio Error Bug Report
I keep getting this error while trying to activate my VIP account in Modio:
"There was an error when attempting to activate your account. Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1."
Can you do anything about this?
How about giving us UNLIMITED/INFINITE activations? After all... We should get what we paid for and because we paid for it, we should be able to do whatever we want with it. It would also make it easier for you all and be less of a burden on you.

(P.S. I did send a private message to Bran and wrote on his wall regarding this, but I'm not holding my breath for in after seeing other people's threads and comments regarding it.)

Still haven't heard anything from Bran or had the problem resolved.
How much longer can I be expected to wait? Is there a way to swiftly resolve the activation thing?
Who are the other Administrators or moderators that I may contact about this?

No, always the same computer.
I just did a clean install a few times is all. I never thought it would give me so much trouble at one point from re-installing a few times. (Modio, I mean)
Also, I tried that last night and it didn't seem to help. I may try that again to see if anything changes, but I doubt it.

If anyone else has any suggestions or (HELPFUL, non-flammatory) comments, then feel free to chime in. Otherwise, I think my only hope and option lies in one of the moderators or administrators helping out in reactivating my VIP on Modio for me.
I really wish we had unlimited or infinite re-activations. *sigh* Or at least give us ten (10) activations/re-activations. That would be a good amount to have before we actually have to ask for help and bother an administrator to re-activate it. At the very lest, it would lighten the burden and pressure with far less of an influx of people asking for this.
Edit: Hmm... Looks like the Modio download link as down right now. It's not loading at all. Website works fine, though. Maybe look into that? I'd like to try re-downloading it again to see if that changes anything. Thanks in advance.Last edited by Mister Epic; 09-07-2010 at 05:55 PM.

If I didn't, then Modio wouldn't so as much open, let alone work, now would it? :-P
But to answer your question, sir... Yes I do have .Net Framework 4, which I downloaded from the Macrosloth website itself recently.
Modio works fine. So that is not my concern, since I can do everything BUT VIP stuff in it. Which is why I'm trying to get my VIP re-activated in the first place. Not making any progress so far, it seems. (Administrators haven't done anything yet)
Thanks for your help so far, though.
Anything else you can think of?

Hmm...
I guess there will be no customer service or resolving this issue. I've given it a day and a half so far.
Some of you will probably chime in and say I should wait longer, but for something I paid for, I expect service as swiftly as possible in order to resolve the issue and start modding my gamesaves again. (Most of Modio's mod tools, which aren't very many, requires VIP and thus this is important and vital to my operation, hence my impatience and sense of urgency.)
I want to at least thank Lucky Chance for giving me some replies and attempting to help me. I really appreciate that, dude.
