When Apple patches this loophole, next time you reboot that unregistered phone, it will ask to be activated again. A similar loophole was found last year for ios 5 and when Apple patched it all the devices could not be used.

Thanks this worked on my itouch 4g. Wish there was a jailbreak so i can do it to my 4s. Be kinda cool.
