Few questions - Help

I jailbroke my iPhone a few days ago, but I restored it due to the fact that it wore my battery out way to fast. Now I'm having trouble connecting to WiFi and the internet it going real slow. I don't really know what's going on. I restored it with a backup to keep all my information.

So basically my questions are:

1)Is there a reason for me not being able to connect to any WiFi and is there anything I can do to fix it?

2)If I restore it and set it up as a new iPhone will it delete my contacts?

3)Is there a way to keep my contacts and still set it up as a new iPhone?

You will get your contacts back once you link a email address with it. However for wifi there is probably a few things you could try. Go to settings and make sure wifi is switched on. Make sure airplane mode is off. I jailbroke my iTouch 4 a couple months back and had to restore because it bricked. Good luck to you!

What do you mean "link an email with it"? And this will work with a complete restore?

I mean just like go to mail and enter your email with it. It then like loads all your contacts back on it.

Why does everyone say that jailbreaking slows down their device? It's really not that hard to disable unnecessary things and optimize. Hell that's one of its benefits.
