Official Rules - Read Before Posting! Updated: 06/01/13
GameTuts Forum Rules
Red - Permanent Ban
Orange - One Month Ban
Pink - Seven Day Suspension
Green - One Day Suspension
Blue - Warning Given
R1. Do not share your VIP account
R2. Do not sell your VIP account
R3. Do not register just to spam/troll
R4. Do not create another account to avoid your suspension (see note below about permanent bans)
R5. Do not leak information from the VIP only Forums
R6. Do not impersonate a member of staff
R7. Do not post viruses
R8. Do not post ANY information/pictures about ANY member without his/her permission.
O1. Do not sell accounts that are explictly for ages 18+(Porn sites)
O2. Do not phish in any form, this includes linking to websites that steal information
O3. Do not sell/giveaway phished/cracked accounts/content
O4. Do not scam (This includes selling something that is normally free or significantly cheaper)
O5. Do not post or link to porn, gore, or shock site material etc
O6. Do not make racist comments
P1. Do not bully/harass members
P2. Do not discuss illegal activities (warez, host booting, drugs, etc)
P3. Do not post any kind of Jailbait
G1. Do not question staff actions
G2. Do not spam
G3. Do not troll
G4. Do not flame/insult other members
G5. Do not create multiple threads for the same thing
G6. Do not use excessive foul language (cursing)
G7. Do not use inappropriate profile information(location, user title, bio, etc)
G8. Do not misuse the report system (reporting posts that clearly do not break a rule)
G9. Do not post any Social Engineering (SE) related content or discussion outside of the VIP forums.
B1. Do not bump old threads (2 weeks or older / doesn't apply to: stickied threads & tutorials)
B2. Do not use misleading thread titles
B3. Do not advertise (allowed in sigs, as long as it's not too big.)
B4. Do not ask for free stuff (invites to certain sites, 48 hour trials, invites to lobbies, etc)
B5. Do not double post
B6. Do not mini-mod (Lock this, ban him, etc ; Use the report button instead)
B7. Do not discuss religions
B8. Do not ask for VIP
B9. Do not use a large signature (no larger than 400x500) (Staff may have larger signatures)
B10. Do not post referral links (swagbucks, rewards1, adf.ly, superpoints, sharecash, etc)
B11. Do not bump a thread more than ONCE every 24 hours
B12. Do not ask for a modded lobby
-Staff may take whatever action they deem necessary.
When permanently banned you lose your VIP and Donator status.

Note - Many of these rules still apply to the 'Official' GameTuts Chats. Staff will use their own discretion when dealing with issues arising from the chats.

-Added a censor for advertisements
-Removed B11 (No selling OG gamertags) as it is a part of the official marketplace rules
Cleaned up some other areas.
Also, remember that R4 does apply to permanent bans. Offenders of this rule risk being IP banned.

We ask that you only bump 2-week (or older) threads with post(s) contributing to the thread.
Removed: B13. No Charging for challenge lobby's
The sub-sequential threads regarding this have been removed; lobbies and recoveries should be posted in the XP/Infection Lobbies Forum.
All questions and comments should be posted in the forums!
