Which Cinema 4d should I get if I want to make sigs? Should I get the Cinema 4D R13?

I'm not sure whats in R13, but i have R12 and its good.

Should I get cinema 4d r12 or Adobe after effects? They are pretty much the same price..

After effects is mainly for motion effects, so if you going for sigs i would do C4D
